Flying CO to NRT

I'm flying CO to GUM via NRT, I was wondering does anyone know if there is luggage storage near the CO gates there. Or anywhere in the airport for that matter. We have an 8 hour layover there so we would like to drop our bags somewhere and go into the city. Any help would be apprecaited http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Are you travelling in BF or a member of the Presidents Club??? If so, you can leave your luggage/coats etc in the lounge (as I do), and pick it up on your return from the city.
I also belive there are storage bins located in the public lounge/shower facilities.

Oh I didn't even think about that. Yes we are in BF, and also memebers of the presidents club. Thta's a better option that paying to have our luggage stored.

There is actually no Presidents Club in NRT. CO has a reciprocity agreement with the JL Sakura Lounge in Terminal 2, so if you ask at the ticket counter or transfer counter, upon showing your BusinessFirst ticket CO personnel will give you an invitation paper (essentially a directional map), or you can just head over directly to the Sakura Lounge if you are a PC member.

My only actual experience doing this is as a CO Presidents Club member, not flying BF, but in my experience, unlike CO clubs, a guest is not allowed when using the JL lounge, probably because CO has to pay. Sometimes they have just let me in; occasionally they have called CO first.

Should you get over to Terminal 1 for some reason, you can probably get into the NW lounges on a BF ticket, certainly so as a PC member.

If this is your first time at NRT, there are some very helpful maps of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 available for free in distribution racks around the airport.

what will you be doing in Guam? I'm from there...I'm sure for what ever reason you go, you'll enjoy yourself.

Adios. :-)

This past Jan I was on CO to NRT transferring to NW onwards to SIN in BF. I had no problem whatsoever in leaving my luggage/coat/packages in the reciprocol lounge in both directions. Some may say, since the bins don't lock you are taking a risk-- but I've (knock wood) never had a problem. I never leave my cash, passport, tickets etc in my 'left' luggage. I also don't 'ask' if I can do this, so as not to get a 'no' response. I just check in at the main desk, show my BF ticket, find the storage area, leave my stuff and depart. They don't know if I'll be gone 5 min or 5 hours!! In NRT there are a couple of lounges available, choose the one closest to your ongoing flight to GUM to store your luggage.
That way you won't have far to go and can spend more time in the city. I assume you'll be taking the train in?? It is very simple to find, and the information desk on the lower level near the trains is very helpful.
