AMS amenities?
Hello. I was just wondering if anyone here knows whether the KLM lounge in Amsterdam includes showers? I found on this board that it's usable by Prez Club members -- so thanks! Also, is the lounge a departures lounge only or can arrivals go there too? Have a post-redeye morning meeting there next week and would love to shower....

No showers in the KLM lounge, but you can have one at the Mercure Hotel for about €12.50. The hotel is located airside.

you shoulc check this site - sleepinginairports.com (or do a search if the adres is not correct). It mentions (almost) free shower facilities at schiphol airport.

Actually the KLM Intercontinental Crown Lounge has showers, but the lounge is only available for KLM and NW Platinum Elites.
But you could always post your travel dates in the KLM forum and ask if somebody might be there on your travel dates to bring you in as his guest.If nobody is there on your dates, you could still approach somebody entering the lounge and ask, if he could bring you in as his guest... Might be a good idea vice versa as well, always a pain to trade for CO Club passes, if you want to use a Prez. Club beside the ones at EWR... |

Is that all the critieria to get in to the lounge is being NW Platinum? I can't get into domestic lounges w/o a membership or AMEX platinum card. Can you bring in a guest like a spouse? I'll be passing through the first week in April and that would be great if I can break up the trip with a lounge visit. ------------------ |

I'm CO plat and a Prez Club member; I wonder if they'd let me in to one of those. If not, I think I'll try your suggestion.... Thanks again. |
