Peter Max was back in EWR yesterday. This time, I saw it parked in gate #55, in Terminal B! I know Terminal B is the other international terminal in EWR, but how often do they park CO planes there? Has Peter Max paid a visit to this terminal before?

I never realised that the color scheme goes around the entire aircraft. It looks pretty cool. I was driving up the NJ Turnpike last night around 6pm and saw a the brilliantly colored underside of a large aircraft fly right over me. A moment later I realized it was Peter Max on its way somewhere far more interesting than  Hackensack , where I was going.

Some afternoon flights arrive at terminal B because of overflow of pax in the customs facility in terminal C. I believe the flight from FRA always arrives into terminal B.

I thought it was gates, not pax, that made the overflow necessary.

Peter Max came back from FRA yesterday 5/30 into B55. It was then towed to C98 and operated CO702 for EWR-LAX, where it will remain for about 2 days for some mysterious work that CO's doing to its 772s. [Last weekend, they routed Ship 006 "Robert F Six" to LAX for the same. That plane arrived late 5/27 from IAH, and departed LAX-EWR early 5/29.]

I forgot that they still do some MX at LAX, though I do wonder what might be worked on. Are we sure they aren't doing some military charters that might not show on Flightaware?

Nope, its confirmed as MX at LAX by a CO employee on Airliners.net...

The only thing I like about Hackensack is White Manna (quite possible the best cheeseburgers on the face of the planet).

Those who follow the a.net thread will know that Peter Max operated CO1403 LAX-EWR yesterday and then CO82 to DEL.

No one knows what was being done to it at LAX, but to answer our own MBM3's question about the additional seats, I will say no. I checked the seating plans for 1403 yesterday, and it's the old 48/235 configuration. There's A LOT to be done in the modifications, which definitely can't be done in 6 days.

So what the heck are they doing? Inquiring minds want to know!

Yeah, I want to know too!

Also keep in mind that over Memorial Day, Ship #006 "Robert F Six" spent only 2 full days at LAX; but #014 "Peter Max" spent 6 days. And no other 777s are scheduled to go there.

Oh, and just to make this clear, #014 wasn't repainted. It's still Peter Max. :)
