IAH to Mauritius/Seychelles??
 
I'm looking for a place to go on my honeymoon and wanted to know if there is a way to travel from Houston to Mauritius or Seychelles using miles. Thanks for the help.

i'm doing my h'moon there as well. booked a biz class reward ticket iah-cdg-mru on AF. 120000 OP miles. not many airlines fly into SEZ though. i know that AF does not, but EK does (off days). very hard to get an EK reward. looks like kenya airways (KQ) will be joining skyteam sometime and they fly to SEZ, but not sure of the mileage requirement, and anyway would be a hard way to go for only a beach vacation, something like iah-ams-nbo-sez. you could of course do a safari for your first week in kenya and tanzania, then head to sez. good luck.

When are you getting married? If we go, it will be sometime in March and most likely staying at the Hilton. That's not a bad idea to stop off for a safari. Hilton has a great hotel called the Salt Lick Safari Lodge. I wonder if I could plan something out...

Call OnePass and see if you can use miles on Emirates. If so, that is the best option in my opinion.
