btw, UA will say OK particularly if you can show them it's their fault: e.g., "My flight to BWI is delayed, can I please go on this flight to IAD if you have room?"

Perhaps the same holds true for CO?

Thats what I love about this board. for every one who has a positive experience, some one has a negative.

My negative with UA (and the reason I no longer fly with them)is I missed a connection to Chattanooga from ORD back in 90something. Instead of letting me get on an ATL flight they made we wait 9 hours for the next Chattanooga flt.

The reason I was wondering what was going on is you refer to your 9am flt as christmas eve.
