Enhanced off the list
Just got a letter announcing new enhancements to the RewardOne Program. Included was a list of the registered business travellers but instead of including all 12 of us, it dropped off 11 (yours truly included) and kept the colleague with the fewest number of points on the list with a box wondering when he left the company and the date of his last employment. Who said he left the firm?
What the heck is that all about? A list of one? All of my points and everybody else's are gone. I called RewardOne, spoke with a supervisor, and got nowhere awfully quickly. I guess RewardOne literally means Reward One Person only. Some enhancement. Pathetic. |
Did they actually say that this was an ehancement, are you just trying to be cute?
What was benefit supposed to be? It feels like you're leaving out some of this story... |

What information do they want for each traveler? Just employment dates for their verification, or travel information for your convenience?
What was Reward One's explanation for removing the points? I'm not really looking forward to getting back into town this evening and checking my mail... |
The RewardOne letter I rcvd today offered a free lower-48 coach ticket to the first 200 persons who completed the updated RewardOne profile in full. (A link was provided.)
I did so, but am not sure if I was in the first 200 or not. We'll see... big |
Upgradable? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
I'm out of town now; can you please email me the url? |
I have to input their information on the account again. The information requested is name and OP #.
I spoke with a manager over there and as apologetic as she was, she could do nothing to replace the points from the 11 employees. Again, that's some enhancement. The full RewardOne profile asks for very specific and private financial information about each member firm. I for one have no intention of giving Continental the Tax ID number nor am I going to divulge what my firm's entire travel budget is. |

I received our RewardOne mailing today. It listed 4 of our 8 travelers. I called the service center (800-395-4922) and checked our record/file there. All 8 flyers are still on our company's profile.
The agent apologized and said that the profile update/mailing was being done by an outside service. Apparently, they've received numerous calls. |
Somebody somewhere must have listened. I received a phone call from "Unified Resources" this morning. The lady on the phone was just notified of my "difficulties" with the RewardOne website and called to apologize for any inconvenience I suffered. As a way to alleviate this inconvenience, she told me that CO would issue one roundtrip ticket to my office and that it would be mailed to me sometime next week. This ticket will be good for one year after the date of issue and will be honored for travel within the 48 contiguous states with all "major" blackout dates applying. I asked her to elaborate on that last part but she did not know the specifics.
She did say that all travel information from all the employees was erased from the system. To get the proper credit restored, I would need to send boarding pass receipts as proof of trips taken. What a headache! Well, it's a nice measure to offer this roundtrip ticket. I'll let you all know when or if I'm in receipt of this. [This message has been edited by Analise (edited 08-27-2002).] |
Perhaps the RewaredOne points are still in the system?
If not, remember that Q/T fares don't count so don't bother with those boarding passes. Congrats on the free ticket. |
I filled out the update profile link listed above back a few weeks ago like everyone else did.
Today I got a letter in the mail stating that I got 3 bonus RewardOne points for filling out the profile! That kinda surprised me. Considering 4 points gets 5 Prez club passes, that was a pretty good bonus for filling out useless information for the CO marketing machine. Maybe I should cash in and get a stash of 15 Prez club passes and immediately auction them on Ebay http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Then use the proceeds from my auctions to buy a ticket on AA or NW ?! |
I too got the 3 points posted to your account letter.
In addition, I discovered that one of our employees (OnePass Silver) had an incorrect OnePass number in our Reward One profile. None of his flights were posting for credit. I called the RewardOne service center and corrected the FF number. In addition, the rep said she would go back to the first of the year and post all missing flights/credits. She offered to do this before I asked. Thanks CO Reward One. |
