Pecking Order for upgrades
 

Does anyone know the pecking order Continental uses for upgrading elites? In particular, I want to know where NW elites fall in line. I am currently CO elite, but am considering using NW in 2003. But, will still probably fly on CO metal.

CO Platinum
NW Platinum
CO Gold
NW Gold
CO Silver
NW Silver

Although OP service center will tell you that the elite levels for CO and NW run at the same time, a friend that works there tells me that it tends to favor the specific airline. This is also true, in my understanding, at NW.
