Booking a trip on CO using ITA
I'd like to book a trip on CO from AMS to IAH. When I search using ITA, I find a fare for £335 and is as follows:
25/5 AMS - LGW: British Airways - Booking Code N. 0700 flight. LGW - IAH: CO - Booking Code S. 0930 flight. 31/5 IAH - AMS: CO - Booking Code S. 1915 flight. When I price this on any internet travel site it comes out at £444.40. Does anyone know why this is? I tried to book the flights from my local travel agent but they were unable to book the flight for me as it does not originate in the UK. If I were to call CO (not open now, will have to try tomorrow), would they be able to do this itinerary? |
Look up the precise booking codes that ITA is giving you and call the airline to see if they can match. Also, when searching on ITA be sure to select the "check availability" option.

expedia.co.uk prices this out at 349 pounds incl service fee
the key is when you take an ITA itinerary is to book it on expedia using the multiple cities option and plug in ams-lgw, lgw-iah, iah-ams and then click on CHOOSE FLIGHTS SEPERATELY and pick your flights one by one for final pricing |
BRILLIANT! Thank you! :) :)
