What is the 'D' code for on itn?

What is D in this example:

Continental Airlines 538
16:00 Newark, NJ (EWR) 19:06 Miami, FL (MIA)
A9 D9 F0 E0 Y9 H0 K0 B0 V0 Q0 T0

It wouldnt happen to be a standard F award seat would it?

A= Purchased First Class
D= Domestic Upgrade on Int'l First Class
F= Upgradeable First Class

I do believe it's "E"

In a recent conversation about FC upgrades w/ a P-Club the agent I was told that they were having a problem lately where travel agents were somehow booking customers in (D) for purely domestic trips...

my understanding of (D) is the description above... how then could someone be booked in (D) for domestic? didn't make any sense to me...

I got the impression that this was some kind of work-around or glitch given the way I was told...

I smell a rat there too...unless what they told you was incorrect...which wouldn't surprise me either.
