Will DUS be back?

I really wonder if EWR-DUS will be back this summer?
There are 2 thigs that I just noticed:

1. DUS fares were gone - now they are back at travelocity

2. The CO/KL codeshares DUS-AMS seem to be gone too

Any insights?

OLiver, I wasn`t even aware, that CO had a codeshare on the DUS-AMS flights.

I still think, it would be better to operate a bigger plane out of DUS to feed bigger planes from AMS, right now both KLM`s Fokker 50 out of DUS and CO´s 757 out of AMS are not more than a "Notlösung"

If they really deepen the cooperation, that would be my favorite solution as well, better feed two or three nonstops daily ex AMS than one 757 from DUS.But I still don`t know, what role NW plays in that drama.....

Do you know anything about Co`s slot or team in DUS, did they lay off all their people and what happens to a slot, if you pull out of a market ??

Unfortunatly the staff is at the ARBEITSAMT, while I think Monica the boss got transfered.
The slot seems to be emty since nobody took the gate or the time, as far as I know (no new transatlantic from DUS at 11:00 in the morning)

PS: DUS used to have the DC10 and it was full all the time.
The 757 was only to stay for about 4 month - then the smaller 767-200 was sheduled to return after they would have gotten some more of these.
