status code RR?
Anyone know what this CO status code means? Instead of HK for confirmed, the res shows RR. I looked around for a thread to explain, but no luck...
------------------ Bad Gordon! No Freddie for you! |
Is it another carrier - I have seen RR signaling "on request" when one carrier requests (usually electronically) seats on another carrier - just a guess though -
|
No it's a CO flight, on CO metal...
|
where exactly are you finding this? I'm not familiar with it at all those codes at all...
--- does anyone know what the codes are when you look at your onepass activity... like this: CONTINENTAL 1172 XA CHICAGO-NEWARK CONTINENTAL 1163 XF NEWARK-ATLANTA CONTINENTAL 63 Y NEWARK-HOUSTON CO/AM WEST 647 F HOUSTON-PHOENIX NORTHWEST 0797 KU EWR MEM I know it has something to do w/ fare classes, but I am confused about the XA/XF... I assume that X is a designator that the flight was upgraded and XF would to upgraded to First, but upgraded to A is weird. I haven't flown HP from IAH to PHX, but I did fly CO (probably a code share), shows as F, but no class of service bonus, but doesn't show XF or XA. Then the NW "KU" since I bought a K ticket I assume this means K - upgraded or something. The Y fare was a standby, then upgraded I think, either that or a re-route... yeah I think it was a re-route... FCTSTY: in advance I don't care what you think of this thread... for your benefit I will add your comments in advance so that you don't have to... "Who cares what the codes mean" & ".." It's in the CO res system PNR. Looks like this:
1 COXXXV 15FEB FR EWRLGA RR1 415P 515P 19A*19B* Normally the RR would show HK to show it is confirmed, or LL for waitlisted, etc... RR is a new one.... The XXX would be the flight number, and I did change the city pairs, just incase we have lurkers.... |
I jsut came back from HKG on an upgraded B fare bought before HoKeY took effect. The e-ticket read "R" class.

tvl4free -
you are wise, however, it's a domestic reservation.... vulcan - you are confusing fare codes with status codes. alas, we still don't know what this means.... |
It means Gordo is a freakin lyin bast....
...oops. sorry, wrong thread... |

It's use is not widespread. Perhaps this clears the air for you...??? |
I think we might have an answer here. Just spoke w/ the person in question whose res my travel agent was able to find for me. He's gold, and traveling with a companion who has no status. He's on a waitlist for first for a flight that leaves in an hour, and trying to get the Gold upgrade for his "friend". Not sure if thats why the RR code, but it could be an answer....
|
I just asked a friend who works for CO and she says RR means reconfirmed. Usually it means the passenger called to reconfirm reservation.
|
Isn't that interesting... I always figured that they just looked at your itinerary and said, yep, your reconfirmed...

It was supposed to be a little comic relief, but I guess whenever someone wants that, you do it better. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
