Establish an Advisory Board for the CO OP program?

"Establish an advisory board for the Onepass program with actual participation of elite fliers so that this mess and all that's related to it can never happen again."
Absolutley!!!! They would sign a Confidentiality Agreement and review all program changes and any other issues dealing with OnePass before they were publicized. CO has shown time and again that it does not know how to write a release that does not raise more questions than it raises. They need help from their customers."

"...Of course, it appears that they failed to include any customers in the discussion to more accurately gauge the potential impact (Of course they did the same thing with EUA).

CO really needs a consumer panel who have signed confidentiality agreements so that they will get unbiased, straight feedback from us BEFORE they implement changes."

Again, an excellent idea, Vulcan, as it was the first time you proposed it. The time has long since come, IMHO! Why not institute it?

In fact every OP level, including basic, could and should ideally be represented to accumulate a solid and acuurate picture of the pax point of view!

Is CO interested?

Just like the Supreme Court, the make up of this board can greatly affect the decisions made.

They could placate us by assebling a panel of corporate-Y-fare Elite shills who all agree that HoKeY was the greatest thing CO ever introduced.

... careful what you ask for ...

Excellent point, naturally, and the diversity of the representative pax serving and a true sense of inclusiveness of such a Board, should it ever be comprised at all, is essential! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

All points are well taken. I would not want to be involved in setting policy. Its thier airline and they can do whatever they want, even stupid things. I would like to review planned changes and give them a view from the outside as to how they will be intpreted and what errors may be in a planned release. Such as, how is the average person able to find out if T+$800 is better than V+$600 or K for Intl upgrades. When they say things like "available seat", what does this mean, any seat, upgrade seat (if so, what bucket, J,D,Z,R???????).
In my opinion, while people may not like changes, they can deal and work with them as long as they don't have to guess at what should have been made quite clear in the release.

One wonders what, if anything, the CO OP folks might think of this concept? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Well, all the folks at CO who really cared are long since GonePass. Too bad they do not have the Dena's and Steve's around anymore.
