Continetal Select - Miles "Deducted"

Only qualified for the lowest threshold of this targeted promotion, Had till April 30 to reach my maximum, as far as I can tell I flew the required round trips by mid January. My onlie (I meant online, but maybe there's a message in my typo)statement was showing two continental select transactions yesterday, now the account is down by 12,000 miles and the detail is unavailable.

Has any one else noticed this problem

were your fares Q or T fares???
I had the same thing happen. When I called, I was told that there was a "MIS-POST" and that Q and T fares were accidentally posted for about 24 hours before they realized the error and re-ran the program and took out Q and T fare bonuses.

Not having the statement I don't know for sure. Obviously I book the cheapest flights possible.

I do not remember the Q & T exclusion from the original offer, however it was pretty awkwardly worded.

Looks like this one may be impossible to attain since my travel schedule has stabilized to the point I can book three to four weeks out which results in Q fares and no credit.

I only have till April 30 to reach my maximum.

Some of the other Select Bonuses may be absolutely impossible to attain with the Q & T exclusion

Here are the T&C's - it says for ALL published fares....

Program Guidelines

This program is valid for paid round-trips and/or one-way tickets booked in any published fare. Rewards will be calculated from your OnePass account activity. Round-trips will be calculated as one credit towards your goals and a one-way ticket will be calculated as a half-credit.

This offer is valid only on flights operated by Continental Airlines, Continental Express and Continental Micronesia and is not valid on any code-share flights.

All standard OnePass terms and conditions apply to this program, including Continental's right to modify or terminate the OnePass program in accordance with the terms and conditions of OnePass.

OnePass bonus miles will be credited to your OnePass account within six to eight weeks. The program runs from October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002. Join before September 30, 2001 to participate.

This offer is non-transferable and is intended only for the person names in the enclosed letter. You must be a OnePass member to qualify.

If you have any questions about the program, please contact the Continental Select Service Desk (8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday) at 1-800-292-8899.

As the miles and rewards are individually tailored so are the T & C, further research indicates that the 42,000 maxaimum reward T & C's does exclude Q & T

This one won't be the slam dunk I expected

There is another thread on this topic but 75% of it is playground flaming.
