752-200 First Class
 

I got upgraded today for the first time on a 757-200. I loved the reclining seat and "foot stool".

I also liked the personal LCD monitors and choice of movies.
I felt a little foolish when the FA had to explain how to get the LCD monitor out of the arm rest!

sound to me like they flew a International BizClass on your route... nice upgrade...

Yup, that's the international configuration of the '57. 16 BF seats, the domestic configuration has 24 seats in the same space. They are used from time to time on domestic routes.

880 was this plane in CLE? I see from your profile that you're in OH... It would be really rare to see a 757 in CLE... I think the only route that operates a 757 from CLE is LGW and that didn't fly today...

I'm thinking maybe the international 757 for the LGW runs was "in the hangar" and they needed an aircraft for some reason...

EWR-COFlyer--This was the second leg of the flight-IAH to LAS.

Heck...lately there are less and less 737's in CLE too...and more and more RJ's

I flew TO CLE once this year and THRU it one other time. My goal is to never step foot in that airport ever again.

The flight there was on an RJ from HPN (Westchester Co) at the last minute... it was cheaper than LGA, EWR & ISP.

My connecting flight was on a Beechwood 15-seater.

That's it... I'm done... never again, NW offers too many "real jet" options for me out of NYC. I will gladly fly anywhere via DTW/MSP before I go thru that again.

And, looking at the eTimetable it doesn't look like things are going to get better anytime soon... I really wouldn't be surprised to see an exodus of CO Elites from CLE, or at least a switch over to flying mostly NW.

Kinda off-topic, but does CO see any revenue when their Elites fly NW but post the miles to CO? I keep seeing a lot of people here who are CO Elites who do the lion's share of their flying on NW... does CO get anything out of that?

They are nice, except when they are a last minute equipment change and you get to watch 8 EUA's downgraded to middle coach seats.

Did you have a beef with the airport itself, or just the aircraft you flew on? For what it's worth, the CLE hub is all jet now (including, as alluded to elsewhere, lots of Regional Jets, unfortunately). RJ's still beat the propjets, though.

No, the airport is nice, so's the P-Club, although they could use one in the RJ Concourse (D???). Last time I was there the escaltors were broken... I had luggage and it was like a 25min wait for the (1) elevator.

Here are my preferences:

4) NW ARJ (85 seater w/ FC)
5) HP in coach w/o EUA
6) CO ERJ
7) NW CRJ

My problem with CLE is that I've typically already found other option by the time I get down to anything that operates out of CLE.
