ticket credit question

I have 3 non-refundable etickets and 1 non-refundable paper ticket on flights never taken this year. All tickets are to different destinations.

I know I have a ticket change fee, but can I-

Use each ticket for a different future destination?

If it is the same city-am I charged the same price or the prevailing rate (other than the change fee)?

What if the new ticket/fare is less expensive--do I get a credit?

Can I use them for anyone other than myself?
(I would like to use one ticket for a family trip to chicago before the end of the year.)

Can I combine them all together for one large credit! (I know wishful thinking)

Sorry to be long-winded--I can never get a straight answer for CO phone reps.

Just went throught this last week..here's how I came out.

1. If fights were shortly after the 9/11 - 9/25 waiver period for fees, you may want to ask rep if they can waive fee anyway.

2. Tickets can be used for different destinations.

3. Always charged prevailing rate regardless of booking.

4. If re-booked fare is less, you will get voucher for future CO use.

5. Disappointly, rebooking can only be for the person named on the ticket. No pooling, etc.

Also, if one was an international destination, it can only be used on another international ticket. Whereas a domesstic ticket can be used anywhere.
