Reward Redemption statistics.
I guess I never noticed this before... it's kind of tucked away at the bottom of the page. They say this will be updated monthly.
You can see how many onepass rewards were redeemed by month. http://onepass.continental.com/redeemstats.htm |
Thanks jetsetter777 for bringing this to the light of day. I wasn't aware.

Would be interesting to know how many int'l. BF requests that they have vs. how many they actually honor.
While I'm not privy to any statistics, I'm guessing that its long been in the 0.0... range. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif [This message has been edited by tvl4free (edited 10-16-2001).] |
And dont overlook this gem of "enhanced" wisdom:
Each month this page will be updated with the total number of rewards redeemed during the previous month by our active* members. *Members who had account activity during the listed month and have at least 5,000 miles in their OnePass account. And just how could an inactive member redeem an award? MisterNice |
Intersting stats. Which month did they offer the real low point redemption offer? There seems no obvious "spike" in redemptions, up to July anyways, which is surprising.

Order an upgrade to BF, you redeemed miles baby, even if you sit in coach. Use miles to order a magazine subscription or donate to charity, redeeeem city. It's a gague of how many times people used their miles, nothing more. It has no refelection upon how many times people were able (vs not able) to get a desired seat/upgrade, or any other success ratio. It's not a negative thing, it's just irrelevant. |
I guess this list isn't very useful, but I echo the sentiment that it would be more useful to see the "attempted" versus "actually redeemed".
But, from CO's perspective, I guess doing that would thereby expose the big gaping holes of logic in the lovely new "enhancements". They are giving us as little information as possible, because if they gave us any more it would probably be information which supports OUR argument and not theirs. Bleh. |
