How long does Onepass dining miles post?
 

Hi all,

I just have a few simple questions. First, do any of you know how long will it take for the idine miles to post to your FF account. I just had dinner and a lunch at separate idine restaurants and was wondering when I could expect to see the miles on my onepass account.

My second question is the first visit every month rule. Does this mean the first visit every 30 days or every month. I'm thinking that it is every month thus I could theoretically dine at a particular restaurant on Sept 30 and at the same restaurant on Oct 1 and get miles for both visits since they are on separate months.

Could someone shed some light on these two questions? Thanks a bunch

1- It generally takes between 30-60 days depending on the day you dine. Why ? Well, Idine OnePass, as well as the other dining programs, generally transfer points the very last days of every month, I really don't know the date but some people over at AA speculate the 28th or 29th of every month, so this could apply to OnePass too. And this is true in both programs ! I'm enrolled in both and when I dine at a participating restaurant at the end of the month (generally before the 29th), the points appear in my FF account within days.

2- Yes, you can receive points for dining on the 30th and then the following month on the 1st.

It'll take about 60 days to post to your account. I love those FREE dining miles!

Thanks everyone, for some reason I expected it to post within a few days which is why I started getting worried. I guess I'll have to wait till the end of the month to find out. Now I'm going to have to find another place to store receipts! I might just start eating only at the participating restaurants so I can rack up those miles. I can just see it, "Well, for our anniversary honey you can choose from this list of restaurants!" lol
