Retarded pricing - rant
I know, airlines are in business to make money.... and they'll charge what the market will bear, but i'm absolutely ASTONISHED at the prices CO is trying to charge to go from DCA to Nantucket in the summer. i've been looking at prices today for dates throughout July, and the LOWEST fare is $671 roundtrip. in the past (ie, last year, the year before, the year before, etc) i've paid a low of $250, but most normally in the $350-$400 range, which i am happy to do.. but $671?!?!?! what on earth is that? i know oil prices are up, i know that ACK is a tony destination, but that fare, for two barely-1 hour hops on crappy ERJ equipment with a change of planes in Newark is OUTRAGEOUS. rant over

You may also wish to change your thread title to something a bit more PC. |
