I am asking any elite member for help nicely please i have a flight from ewr to bufflo on aug 9 2001 and need help change my seat please the seats i have i hate them and the front row i reserved for elite and they willn;t give me and seat in the front row please help me.

Are you looking for an elite member on the same flight?

If they aren't on the itinerary, I have had bad luck trying to get seats. I would always make my girlfriend's reservations on the elite line and try to get emergency exit seats for her and it never would work unless I were travelling with her.

So unless they are on the same flight and call OP and say "I would like to change seats for a travelling companion that just happens to be on a different record locater" (which could happen for certain reasons, ie EUA), it probably won't work. Plus they would have to be willing.

If you can go to an airport ticket counter, they may be able to assign better seats for you than you get over the phone. The last time I flew internationally, I ticketed at the airport, and the agent confirmed us in bulkheads for every flight.

I'm elite, and I don't know how much of a difference that made....

There are plenty of seats to choose from. Maybe the telephone agent just didn't feel like looking. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Available non-premium seats include 22EF,23EF,26F,27DE,28EF,29DE and 31DEF.

The last row, 31, is right next to the engine (not sure about 29), but 22-28 are just fine. Take your pick -- D is aisle and F is window.

Call CO and ask to be moved to another seat, and specify the seat you want.

emmett - Maybe you should go over to the CO office at the Tano Mall on Amboy Avenue. The agents who work there always have been extremely helpful and I would think that one of them will do something for you. From JS's post, it appears that there are still some OK seats still open and the agents will check for you to see if anything better has opened.

I know some one that owns me big time he gave me 14a 14 c both ways is that good.

if you email the details tonight of what seat you want my angel at the tano mall ticket office might be able to do something for you. However, tomorrow is her last day until at least November (she's having a baby! so I will be just another seat assignment until then) Do you want bulkhead, exit row, aisle, window? I am visiting her tomorrow to wish her well and might be able to help.
