Fly more segments
 

Has anybody received the bonus miles for the "Fly More Segments" promotion yet? If so, how many more segments did you fly and how long after completing them did you receive the miles?

I have received the 2500 Miles bonus on several R/T segments. I think this is the promotion you were talking about correct? If so, I received it within a week of travel.

Actually, I am talking about promotion GGONE RA1M02, listed in the Current Onepass Bonuses thread. In this promotion you get 4000 bonus miles if you fly 4 more segments between 6/1 and 8/30 than you did during the same period the previous year, or 8000 miles if you fly 8 additional segments.

I am registered for this promotion and have so far flown 4 segments and will be flying another 4 segments in early August, but I have not yet received any miles. I am wondering whether the miles will post once the period is over, or if I should have got 4000 miles by now...

So, has anyone actually received miles from this promotion?

I think he's referring to the 4,000/8,000 ones that come from flying 4 or 8 more segments than last year over certain set dates. Beware on this one. I "registered" for it via touch-tone phone over the previous period and everything seemed to take, but no credits (I called OPSC and they gave me the "account not flagged" bit. I didn't put up a fight because if they went by the book there were likely other, more lucrative "unflagged" bonuses where I had credits that I didn't want disturbed).

So I did the touch-tone registration again for the one currently in effect, and again it seemed to take. But I'm not holding my breath and certainly not making any purchase decisions on the basis of a bonus like this that may or may not come through. Other offers have been reliable, but this one hasn't (for me at least). If you got the mailing you're probably fine for it, though.

When I have rec'd these promo's in the past (last fall and this spring) miles always posted around the 15th of the month after promo ended (in this case I would think around 9/15). The posting date is in the fine print at the bottom but I'm pretty sure if your eligible you will see it around the 15th.
