Q fares question

In about a week I am going from EWR-ZRH. I bought the ticket on Continental.com and it was the only fare listed and was a Continental.com promo fare. It is a Q fare. After reading some other posts a few people said that CO will give miles for Q fares. Can I be absolutely sure I will get miles on my trip? Thanks for your help

Yes. I'm not aware of any CO published fare that does not qualify for miles.

Whew what a relief. Thank you very much.

I think some of those posts were making the point that Q or T fares don't qualify for certain of those Continental bonus miles promotions, like RA_____.

what exactly is the difference between a published and non-published fare??

Sheryl May 3, 2001 10:18 pm

Non-published fares can be different things. Priceline and Hotwire fares are non-published fares. Certain package deals include non-published fares. Companion fares are non-published fares. I'm sure there are others as well.
