request bonus miles from OP?
Recently I did a BWI-CMH run. When my CLE-DTW flight was delayed for weather, I missed my DTW-BWI segment, and convinced them to put me instead on CLE-EWR and EWR-BWI (2 segments instead of 1) When the postings came out, all segments were there, but bonuses only posted for all my segments except the two that I just mentioned. Maybe these two didn't go into the record as bought with amex?
Anyway, my question is this... should I call and request the amex bonuses for these 2 segments, or is it a bad idea to have OP look at my records and see all of the bonuses that I have gotten? Will they take some away? [This message has been edited by frank3355 (edited 04-28-2001).] |
It's possible that it dosen't have the AMEX record in there. However, it's also possible (and given Continental's history of inconsistent OP info and bonuses, etc) that the bonuses haven't "hit" for those segments yet.
I'd give it another week and if the bonuses don't show, I wouldn't worry about side-effects of calling the OP SC. I've never had an agent that cared about all the bonuses that I was getting. Daniel |
Has anyone else called and complained that they were missing bonuses, and gotten them all credited?
I also seem to be missing some bonuses from a recent trip. I just can't imagine calling and saying "I only got 28,000 miles for my 2000 mile trip. I want the missing 8000 miles please." |
I would wait a while. It appears not all of the bonuses post at one time ,but dribble in over 2-3 weeks as the OP computer does its runs. Re my trips, all bonuses appeared within 30 days (at least the more recognizable ones).
