Waitlist upgrades based on revenue?
 

I am sure you guys are sick to death of this subject, but as I was .....ing about EUA to the gate agent, she replied, and I quote, "yeah, we have several Platinums, but if you paid $250 for your ticket and he paid $1200 we are going to give the upgrade to him." I asked specifically if this was by class of service (Y vs non-Y) but she said no, it was done by revenue.

A new twist? As someone who buys $198 tickets, I feel a bit vulnerable now..

BTW, watched a FC passenger get ejected off of CO154 yesterday for demanding his upgrade in an extremely obnoxious way (refusing to sit down in his seat and wait) [!] Was anyone else there?
