Could someone please post the link to the e-service online test (or email it) so that perhaps others can also get the bonus miles and test the new system? Thanks.

Yesterday I got an e-mail saying they were ready for beta testing. I tried four times to purchase a ticket. I could not accomplish it, and what did work was slow. I called the help number but they could not help me because their computers were down. I e-mailed them twice to complain but no response. Has anybody got it to work? Those who didn't get this special offer should rejoice.

Has anyone heard from COOL since submitting the initial survey?

Yep, Harold! So far Lurch and I have. And, I'm sure a few others who haven't posted yet. We just got the email giving us the link to the new site yesterday.

Lurch, I haven't tried to purchase a ticket yet. But I did try to save an itinerary, and it did a lousy job...only showed 3 of 4 segments. And yes, it was slow! And the beta site has even fewer features than the regular site. For those of you not in the beta test, you're not missing anything...at least for now.

But, having beta tested before, this is the way beta tests work. They usually start out with a buggy product lacking many of the features of the final product. Eventually they clean out the bugs and add the features...except for Microsoft, of course. They release the buggy product! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/mad.gif

Yes, your account must be flagged to get the 50% bonus. Call Onepass at 713-952-1630 to find out if your account has the flag for the 50% e-ticket bonus. Also you should get the bonus as long as you buy an e-ticket from CO reservations, CTO, or ATO...so long as it is a CO e-ticket. Also, can someone please post the link to the test e-service site?

jetsetter,

But beware, you won't get the bonus if you buy the ticket from CO's website. If you buy it there, all you'll get is a 1000 mile online bonus. Of course, if you buy it through a travel agent, you'll get nothing.

As for the link to the beta test site...all CO has done is transfer my online reservation site to the beta site. As soon as you go there, you have to input your username and password. And if your username isn't on their list, you can't get in. Now, if you want to make some reservations on my username, lemme know! You'll give me 2,000 miles for every reservation you make. And, since the ticket will be in my name, I'll get the mileage for your flight! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Would somebody be so kind and post the URL? Thank you very much!

JAWS_II Feb 23, 2001 8:42 am

I have actually purchased my first ticket throught the Beta site. Yes, it's slow, it has bugs, but I received my confirmation and receipt via e-mail almost instantly after completing the purchase. The real pain was having to re-enter ALL your profile info.

Steve100, read above, SemiElite's post about the Beta Site. You cannot get in unless you are on the Beta test list. So, publishing a URL is of no value to people not on the list.

Just to let everybody know I did get the bonus for e-tickets that I had made reservations for on the phone (and paid for and picked up at a CTO). For the same trip I also bought tickets for my wife and daughter (different itinerary, however). My wife also got the bonus (and she's not elite, we're not sure why her account got flagged); however, my daughter did not. However, my daughter has only been a OnePass member for three weeks!

I got the notification that the beta site was ready on 02/21. I logged on Thursday to check a fare, but did not reserve. Now I need to book 4 trips, but I get this message when I log in:

Thank you for your interest. The Beta Test engine is not ready for testing. If you are in the test group, we will notify you via e-mail when you can start testing the newest version of our online reservations system, eService Online.

I received the beta invitation last week but was busy and put the email in my "to be read later" folder. After seeing this thread, I retrieved it and tried to register. Lo and behold, this is what I got:

Thanks for your interest in the Beta Test for the new eService Online.

We reached our goal for the number of participants we needed.

Watch for the new eService Online to be launched soon!

Lessons learned: 1) read my emails on a timely basis, and 2) read Flyertalk more regularly. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/redface.gif
