I would like to clarify that I am in no way advocating censorship. I am advocating restraint and posting of topics in the "Proper" forums. For example, If Randy intended on Links and News articles to be posted in the individual forums, why did he create "In the News"?

I am also not always on a slow connection. I have DSL at work and cable modem at home. Slow connections are only a prblem when I travel, which is quite frequently.

Well, I think I'll take this oppertunity to apologize for responding to the year old post. Clearly, it turned out to be a bad idea. A very bad idea.

No offense taken, either. I still maintain that coercing anyone, in any way, to post or NOT to post something they were thinking of posting really is a form of censorship and ought to be avoided. Its very possible that one item in doc's 95,000th post http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif might be the one to save me a lot of money. I really want the ability to hear all of his thoughts/suggestions myself and decide which ones are important and which ones aren't. I realize others may disagree. I have no problem agreeing to disagree on this issue.
As I suggested, if Randy can come up with a system that allows any member to block all posts from doc or anyone else they choose, it would solve almost all of the problems.
