Codes in ITN for Flight to Cancun??
I am flying CO from IAH to Cancun next month.
Checked in ITN to see what my changes were for an F/C (or business) upgrade but the usual A and F codes are not used. What are the code I should be looking for?? Thanks |
Look for Z coded seats. Generally on Latin American flights with regular FC (not BF) configuration, the codes are C for revenue FC seats and Z for those that are upgradeable. I myself am waiting until midnight tonight to grab elite upgrades on the EWR-SJO nonstop for Thursday and the codes as of a few minutes ago read C6...Z6. It looks good for me right now. The Z seats are also upgradeable with 15K miles in each direction without the 30 day in advance restriction.

Thanks for the info. ITN shows normal 737-300 configuation with C9 Z6 and C8 Z6. Only a couple of the "green" seats (other than ours) are "taken" on the flights.
Should have great chance for a midnight upgrade. |
Are Elite upgrades available to Latin America? That would be good news. I had thought they were good only for domestic. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Candlelight: Yes, and not only Latin America. Doublecheck the elite handbook. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

There is 0 service in first on that flight - only drinks.

Meals is not my reason for wanting upgrade. I just "need" the space that 1st class (business) seats provides.
I should get breakfast on the way back (@7:30am) |
Canadian Flyer: I agree with you 10000000000%

Can somesome tell how to check the codes from ITN? I tried www.itn.com but it brings me to American Express Travel.
