Upgrading Award Tickets
I understand NW frequent fliers can upgrade free domestic tickets on the day of departure (or possibly earlier, depending on status).
Given the reciprocal benefits with CO, can a CO Onepass Gold flier upgrade an award seet on NW, if CO miles were used to obtain the ticket?
Anyone tried this?

I was once successful getting an upgrade on an award seat on PBI-EWR at the airport. I am silver elite on CO.
Never happened ever again.
