Privelege Packs

Anyone know how long it takes to get your privelege pack once you have signed up? I am signing up today and my next CO flight is June 12.

I spoke with the Service Center for CO and they said it takes approximately 3-4 weeks to receive your privelege pack. Hope this helps.

It will be close. It can take a bit longer than 4 weeks to receive it.

That's about right... even though they send it Airborne Express. It's the processing time that takes the longest.

Did you get the Executive or the Prestige Pack?

I think it depends on the timing
of when you order. Mine took 5 days to get.

I signed up for the prestige pack. My 7500 mile bonus showed up on my account the same day. By the way, they said I would get my material within 4 weeks.

By the way, if anyone is interested I have a new leather ticket holder and leather luggage tag that came with the Prestige Pack, from One Pass. Very nice.

I don't need it and would love to make a "gift exchange" with someone.

I am seeking gifts such as Mileage Plus Car Rental Certificates: Would like about 4; some combo of the following:Need 2 with exp. date of at least 12/31/99. And need 3 with exp. date of 6/30/00 with AVIS on them.

Also have two UA hotel certs. to trade.

Are the upgrade certificates in the Privilege Pack good only on Continental, or can they be used on Northwest and America West as well?

roberton,

As per the CO One Pass Service Center, the one-segment, one class, space available upgrade certificates enclosed with the Privilege Packs are valid (with certain restrictions) on Continental and America West only and NOT on Northwest. The representative indicated this was stated on his computer monitor and I suggested he double check with a supervisor, which he did and he returned with the same verdict.

In addition to those certificates, which are more difficult to use these days due to the utilization of advance first class upgrades by elite members, there are quite a few other valuable offerings. Well worth the purchase price, I feel.

I used a certificate from the prestige pack to upgrade to FC on America West from PHX-IAH. I used it when I checked in at LGB. But beware, it took awhile for HP to post the miles with CO.

Just out of curiousity, how is that 7500 miles listed as on your account, just "bonus"?

Now that I have received my priv. pack, I will put it to use. I am flying to New Orleans on June 19 (via houston) so I will try to use my upgrades. I'm willing to bet I have very little success. But who knows?
