Miles on Alaska
I'm taking my first AK flights with hopes of getting CO mileage. Unfortunately the web site doesn't have CO as an option yet for mileage. Hopefully I can do it at the airport, or maybe I'll end up in paper logged hell like with AWA.
Has anyone else flown and gotten credits? |
Flew them on Sunday. Too soon to know how long posting takes, but my Continental FF number appeared on the boarding pass automatically, so the software obviously works. Doubt there will be any problems with crediting.

I flew them last week. I made my reservation and then called Alaska and they input my FF#. Everything worked fine.
|
Recheck the website. It shows Continental--along with half the western world. I have never had a problem cross-posting mileage.

Not on the Web Specials site. It only has Alaska, Northwest, TWA nad British Air

Ooops sorry! I meant check the Alaska web site--it is:
www.alaskaair.com (Sure hope I set that site up right. Just learning.) [This message has been edited by Punki (edited 04-20-99).] |
I am well aware that the Alaska Air homepage has the icons for all of its partners. Unfortunately, this does not mean that when actually purchasing a ticket on this site that inputting frequent flyer numbers for all of the partners is an option, e.g. Continental. As a result, I will need to do it at the airport or via phone.

You are absolutely right. I had been told by one agent that they were already connected but, after receiving your post I called the MVP desk. First they said they thought they were connected and then they double checked and found that they weren't completed yet. They said "soon, very soon".
They also said that it is better to input your CO number ahead of time by phone, rather than wait until you are at the airport. That way you can use the kiosk check in if you would like to. |
