Inconsistency between CO and NW or Platinum

Just found out by comparing website information on Pltaninum upgrade rights that a CO Platinum is inferior to a NW Platinum--probably because many in CO are bumped up. NW P's can upgrade on NW and CO flights 3 day before. CO P's can only do so on CO flights. CO P's can upgrade on NW or AW flights two day before departure. Plus, NW P's can earn international confirm upgrade points while CO P's cannot. And you thought the two programs were perfectly aligned

That doesn't surprise me. NW obviously doens't want to annoyed their FF by allow CO's FF-P to take up all the available space in FC. Think about it, CO probably has more FF-P's than NW only because of location. (Hubs in 2 major cities; IAH/EWR). So if we CO Elites assume same treatment on NW...there would be more CO FF's in FC than NW FF.
