Did you get a new card this year? I'm wondering why they send them out.

CO sends out new Infinite Plat cards when the design changes. The design changed this time around. Last year it was the addition of the SkyTeam logo.

Dear Gold Member,

Please edit your post above to include the full link. You have cut and pasted a shortened link with an elipsis (" . . . ") in the middle that renders your link useless.

I enjoyed reading your list of the six Star Alliance members, and the three non-U.S. SkyTeam members, offering life elite status.

Thank you all for the informative information.

My March 2006 FFP lifetime membership summary will eventually be expanded to contain the additional information.

If I recall correctly, my qualifying years were 1991-95. The program was discontinued in 1994 but if you already had 3 years under your belt, you were allowed to finish up your 5 years to attain infinite..

Just one last note: I have done enough EQM;s to have qualified for top tier each year since then even if it were not for infinite status (for example, 109,000 EQM's in 05) so I do not beleive that earning status on a carrier makes you want to take your business elsewhere....quite the contrary. What is the sense of earning status if you do not stay around long enough to take advantage of it.

Lifetime FFP Membership

I have completed my first summary in a word document, which I had to zip to get to the website. Please download Lifetime FFP Terms March 2006 – Gold Member’s Guide and provide any comments if you may.

If you need winzip you may download it free at http://www.winzip.com/
