No wait-list for RT upgrade - for real?
I just called nOnePass to request a mileage upgrade on a domestic itinerary. Neither outbound nor return was available. (That is despite tons of availability per ITN. The yield management gods at work!)
Anyway, I asked tp waitlist and was put on hold for about 5 minutes. When the agent finally came back, she told me that it is only possible to waitlist for either the outbound or the return, but not the full itinerary - and that she had put me down for the outbound, if that is OK. She claimed that the system will not accept upgrade waitlists in both directions, and if I clear the one, I will have to call back to request the waitlist for the return. Is this possible? Or did I just get an incompetent agent? Anybody have experience with this one? |
I suggest just calling again and see if a different agent can get you different results ;)
