I'm right there with you with 648,954 lifetime CO miles.

And that does not count my mileage before the advent of the OnePass FF program as my first flight with CO was back in the late 60's.....

Don't know why everyone is sad and upset....I don't know if y'all realize that CO is very much alive in everything other than the name ;)

Indeed we will! :-:

This past week, I was in downtown Houston on business. Prior to my meeting, I walked over to 1600 Smith St. which is the former location of CO's corporate headquarters as it was close by.

In the large foyer just inside the main entrance, the Continental Airlines name use to be emblazoned across a large granite wall. It's gone now but one can still see faint traces of the name where the oversized letters were.

It was a bit of a poignant moment.......

787,533 an end of a long era, so sad

I empathize with you loyal CO customers. I came to realize what a devoted group of customers CO had developed when Mrs. Fredd and I flew our way to lowly Silver some years ago before putting all of our eggs in the UA basket.

Looking forward, I'm not optimistic about those who were loyal to either airline but we'll just have to wait and see.
