Question Elite Status 2012 - when will final status be confirmed?

When will (or IS it already done?) our 2012 status be confirmed?

I'm showing Global Services/Pres Plat again this year at both United and CO.com - though I can't see how I actually earned it (I did the prior year though via the CO PresPlat rules on spend of $30k or more). I expected to get Platinum, as I made it by miles only, about 76k EQM, but my spend couldn't have even been $20,000 last year and lots of that was on *A partners (LH, BD, MS) not on CO or UA metal.

Hoping it really doesn't go away, but not sure if it's something that'll be handled after this weekends merging off the systems.

just wondering...

The stickers that CO sent out to put on the OnePass membership card to extend the validity of it, have an expiration date of March 2, 2012. What do we do from March 3 onwards when we are asked for the card to get into a Star Alliance Lounge for example?

Your status on co.com and united.com still shows last year's status, as the year was extended until Mar 3rd. From tomorrow your 2012 status will be shown on united.com.

You can look at the preview site (pss.united.com) to see what this status will be, although people have reported errors with this data and UA says it isn't completely reliable, just a snapshot.

This link seems to be the most accurate in forecasting status (but not for MM companions and not sure about GS)

as for lack of cards there are multiple threads on that

there have been some indications some lounges are accepting BPs without asking for cards -- but spotty reports.
