EWR to BOS Fare Question

Does anybody who is familiar with the route, know what the lowest price usually is for this? Right now it's $144 with all taxes, but I have no idea if this usually drops more for such a short route.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Jetblue might be cheaper if you're willing to jump airlines.

Are you talking one-way or RT? I see jetBlue pricing out aroung around that for some RTs in April, but there are some days when fares around $144 OW.

For what it's worth, check out what the pricing on this route used to be:

$144 round trip on Continental ... I priced the same dates 3/23-3/25 on Jetblue and it came to $203 with taxes.

I never booked this route before, so I'm curious to know if it gets any cheaper than $144.

That's a good fare. At work we book that route pretty often. Before JetBlue came to EWR, flights were more in the $600-800 range. I wouldn't expect it to get cheaper than $144.

(edited to say...maybe I got it backwards...could have been when JetBlue came to Boston- but same idea!)

I fly Bos-Ewr about once a month. If it were to get lower it's seldom much lower - might get to a $129 or so and sometimes it shoots up considerably but $144 ballpark is a decent fare that you see pretty regularly on this route for R/T.

I think $144 RT is a pretty good price already. Unless you are willing to switch to LGA, you won't get much better deals on this route.

BOS - LGA has been more expensive lately - seen some slightly cheaper JFK fares bouncing around but I'd just stick with the $144 if EWR is preferred airport to fly in/out from.

I too take this run often, that is a decent fare. You may find it a tad lower at times but that is decent.

JetBlue had operations at both EWR and BOS, but when they added that sepcific route - with good frequencies - the fares from CO came down dramatically.

As for the $144 fare, I'd say it is pretty good. There is an L fare out there which is $95++ which should come out to $110-120a/i, but I'm not certain of the details on the fare restrictions there.
