I called and was told they couldn't override the system and I would have to pay or stay put.

It was only after I told them I had the seat and CO moved me out of it for no good reason overnight, that she was able to move my husband closer to me.

It still doesn't show on the website, but I have an email with the new seat assignment.

I'm really starting to hate CO these days.
You said there was no good reason for the seat change. What was the reason?

I haven't a clue. I was in 11C (with the middle empty) and hubby2e in 11D until yesterday. These were the initial seats I selected.

During my daily check, I discovered I had been moved to 8C and now all of row 11 on that side was taken.

When I called, the rep said that two of the seats in row 11 were blocked as being "under airport control."

The seat I was in was not a special assistance seat either - I wouldn't have said a word if it was.

What's odd is that this trip we are both on the same PNR. Usually we're not. Should they have taken that into consideration when moving one of us?

I'm getting sick and tired of being booted out of my seat(s) - it has happened every time in the last 3 trips. It's not a big deal to sit apart from my husband (really, it's not) and at this point, it's become the principle of the matter. I shouldn't have to check my seats on a daily basis and then spend time on the phone fixing it.
