Best Lounges at SFO and EWR for CO BF ticket

I am flying BizFirst from SFO-EWR-FCO and want to know what the best lounges are. My flight leaves SFO around 8am and I have a short layover in EWR. Can I use Intl F lounges? Thanks.

BusinessFirst is an international Business class, so you don't get access to the int'l F lounge.

In SFO, there's a SQ lounge that is better that the UA Clubs. They do not allow entry on domestic tickets, but with the EWR-FCO BP they may relent. They may not be open that early though, so you'll be stuck with the UA Club.

United Club at each airport - hit whichever one is closest to your gate, probably the domestic one at SFO and the one in the hallway connector at EWR.

This is one of the confusing aspects of BF - despite having "First" in the name, it is not first class service and does not entitle you to use the IFL at SFO (there's not one at EWR). You'd think they'd want to correct that...

the options are essentially the United Clubs at SFO or EWR.

Slight preference for the SFO International UC over the the domestic but they are pretty similar.

Thanks for the info. I figured that since SFO-EWR was on flatbed and since I'm going onto FCO in BizFirst I might have been able to sneak in..but guess not!

Thanks
