LX award space

I currently have two saver award tickets returning from ZRH on United in first on 5/21/2012 that I booked using my onepass account. I would like to return to the states on LX, but am unable to find first availability using the CO website. Really would like to experience the on the ground treatment. When does LX typically release seats?

Best chance is inside 1 week, even 2-3 days out.

Absolutely, also best availability via YUL.

GVA also seems to have pretty good availability as of late too (though fewer US destinations)

And IME, it's not even remotely a "sure" thing, like it is with LH. And I've only seen it 1 day out, never more. LX makes F redemptions to the US very difficult for alliance partners. Much easier from ZRH to, say, Asia.

I second this. YUL has a lot of F availability, even for months at a time.

In business, yes. Haven't seen much First to/from US ex GVA.

Hang in there OP, if you keep checking it might open up.

On another thread in SWISS forum, I mentioned LX9 ORD-ZRH release F seat around 22 hours before the departure for the last week. YUL seems to have better availability in both direction.
