What is with the AVOD on the IAH to LHR flights?
 

Just flew IAH to LHR and back in the front cabin and on the trip over my wife's system crashed and would no longer work. They tried resetting it several times but her light was stuck in the on position and the screen was frozen up so the only option was to shut it off for the remainder of the flight which meant dining in the dark and no further entertainment.

On the way back mine quit working in mid flight and my light would not come on so I just gave up and opened my blind and read a book.

The AVOD is a big selling point for CO/UA especially on the overseas flights but is seems like it may need some work.

Sadly, it's been like that for years.
