ah, was expecting it with the press release but good to know it's official. no more hops in denver! yay!

If you're going to add any n/s to the Mountain time zone from EWR, would have much preferred SLC, but I guess YMMV.

Concerning SLC, perhaps UaCo felt that DL's two daily A320 flights have cornered the market on that route...

EWR-BZN will be a reality because of a SCASD grant, approximately $950k in government funds with $750k from local businesses. When the subsidy runs out, few of these flights stick around. I believe this one is a two-year deal.

It was speculated that DL and B6 were in the mix, but UA (s-CO) makes a lot more sense. Too bad it's the 735...
