CR1 upgrades to HNL from US-interior

CR1 upgrades to HNL from US-interior
I see that one can use CR1s to upgrade to HNL from west coast cities. I also read on FT that in 2012 CR1s can be used on any direct flight mainland-HNL. Is this true? CO website only says "select flights to HNL," so don't really have any info to give to an agent. Can't do this on website yet, even though R and RN are non-zero.
Specifically, looking at DEN-HNL. Is it possible to upgrade using CR!??

You cannot use CR1s on the (currently labeled) BusinessFirst flights to/from Hawai'i until the new program starts at the end of this quarter. Once they become RPUs you _should_ be able to use them.

Thanks, that seems reasonable (though sad, since I'm flying in mid-March).
