upgrades on CO?

I am flying CO for the first time in years. I am wondering what the upgrade chances are vs UA upgrades as a Prem Executive.

I fairly frequently get my upgrades on UA.

Any tricks I should know about (ie checking in exactly 24 hrs in advance)?

Good to check-in at T-24 but not critical. Use your CO OP# if you've matched over to Gold.

If you get a cash buy-up offer while checking in that seems suspiciously cheap (like under $100), please post here, as it's likely an "error" that we're trying to help UA fix.

what is the route and day of the week? Those will be the biggest factors.

Thanks. Still trying to get the hang of the new beast that UA/CO has become.

I did enter my OP# into the Continental site.

I am on the upgrade wait list for the first flight but not on the second. It is < T-24, so I think it is a computer glitch or something, as I should just pop onto the list, correct?

Are both flights CO metal? If so, you should be on both lists. Both are EUA eligible flights?

I think this is the route:??

If so, its better if the OP asks all questions on one itinerary in one thread.

If this is the route, PDX-EWR is slim and EWR-MCO is hit or miss depending on the day of travel.

1P/GE has slim chance for TransCon as always.
