Elite Maximizer EQM posts immediately, even if flight is in 2012?
It sounds like this is the case to me, but I'm not totally clear on it. Has anyone tried this?

Does this work on one-way fares? And how do I search for a ticket that is refundable?
Thanks in advance to all for all your help. I went from never traveling for work to traveling a ton, and this helps me a bunch. |

So one more extremely stupid question--once this is done, I transfer the miles from my OP account to my MP account?

As far as the RDMs, you can do it or will will also happen automatically in a few months. |
Question. So I need 18 more miles to qualify for Premier next year. Somehow in planning my trips I did my math wrong and now am kicking myself in the butt.
My mom has been 1k for 20+ years and told me that in years past they have waived about ~25 miles when she has been short that. Do any of you know anything about this? If you don't think I should rely on the mercy of United and Continental, what do you suggest I do? I suppose I could trade in 10,000 miles for 1,000 but it seems excessive. Thank you! |

I seem to remember that CO has granted status to people within 500 miles of the stated requirement. But this always occurs after the fact (that is, sometime after the first of the year) and is not a published benefit of the program, so you can't really rely on it, and if it doesn't happen, it's already too late to do anything about it when you find out. I would be very surprised to hear that someone that was only 18 miles short didn't get the status automatically, but if it were me in that situation, I'd make sure that I qualified by booking whatever my next short trip was now and buying the EQM's through the online offer.

Has anyone seen any EQM posts from Elite Maximizer in the last 24 hours?
< edit > seems like my first try glitched. After I tried it tonight, I got a confirmation email, and the miles posted promptly. |
For a flight tomorrow I'm getting this "great value" offer :)
500 OnePass Reward Maximizer miles $15.00 500 OnePass Elite Maximizer miles $150.00 |
