On upgrade list for one leg but not for second
 

Today I flew MSY-AUS and was on the upgrade list for MSY-IAH (19th as of takeoff) but not for IAH-AUS (and the list cleared out before takeoff, plus they brought 3 deadheading pilots up to fill the empties). Unfortunately I didn't notice until I boarded because I had to run back to the PClub to find my blackberry wedged in the seat cushions.

Not a big deal on such short flights, but kinda weird.

It did mean that I had to watch the Aggies 4 OTs vs K State by looking at 5E's TV from my 8C seat rather than having it to watch myself. The free preview lasted long enough for me to see TCU beat Boise though.

Alas, it could have been my final elite upgrade as changes to EQPs and changes in my flight patterns see me slip from Plat for 6 or 7 years to Silver this year and non-elite next.
