FWIW, TLDR, and back to the OP's original post, there's just something odd about IAH-SAN. Dunno if it's because everybody in F is an elite upgrade and dressed like a beach bum, but this is the route where I've seen the worst F service in general. I never have a problem with the CLE-IAH legs, but the IAH-SAN legs are really sketchy on the F service.

Step 2. Crank Time Machine back to 2006-2007: A Great Era for Continental where even if you missed your upgrade, you got a meal and they hadn't started the DirecTV crap
