When am I offered to buy an upgrade?

No, I was referring to njcommodore's answer to my question on whether the upgrade price would ever exceed the fare difference between the purchased fare and the B/M fare. Based on my experience, the price of the upgrade offered exceeded that fare difference.
(Though I'm surprised they seem to have gone in the other direction.)
