Honeymoon ideas
Hello,
I was looking for destination for our honeymoon between 19.11-28.11
It could be a beach destination in Carribean or Pacific....with flights on Continental (because of some CO bump vouchers).
We can depart from MEX, GDL, BJX.....
Any ideas ? suggestions?
Thx.

CNS is amazing with the great barrier reef, not sure how the prices are though, and a long routing (MEX/GDL/BJX-IAH-HNL-GUM-CNS)

If you are divers I would reccomend Palau. It is the most amazing place on the planet.
I reccomend visiting the waterfall, take a few kayaking tours, a day or two of diving, Swim with dolphins at Dolphins Pacific, a sea plane ride over the rock islands and acouple of nights camping on a deserted island ( you can arrange drop off and pick up through a dive company...I always use Sams Tours.
and if you've more time you can spend a few nights in a bungalow on Carp Island.
you may even run into me there as I will be there during that time...and the same time every year.
it is the hidden gem on the Continental route map....if you have more time you can even stop for a few nights on Yap.

My wife and I had a traditional wedding (stateside) but for our honeymoon went to Fiji (among other places)...
Perfectly charming for a destination wedding, as long as you get off the main island of Viti Levu (we went up in the Yasawa group for a resort)...plus CO flies there!

What about Maui? We visited Oahu last december and and we understood that Maui is different, not that crowded as Waikiki....

A Mexico Option
If "luxurious isolation" is what you're after ...
... you might also look into Punta Chivato ... a "good haul" north of Loreto in Baja CA.
(I've been to their "sister hotel" in Loreto and it was wonderful)
Unfortunately, CO no longer flies to Loreto, but it's a short hop on Alaska from LAX.
