CO systems hosed?
 
Trying to buy airfare; website kicked out an error message. Called the elite desk, entered in my elite number and zip code, then was told in automated voice that there was a problem with CO's systems and my call could not be processed and was promptly disconnected.

Regardless of system problems, it is simply ridiculous that the "solution" is to hang up on me instead of sending me to a person.


Update: They've got me on hold now instead of disconnecting, but tickets still won't book out online.

Looks like I may have just been unlucky... seems the fare may have vanished while I was booking and given me an incredibly helpful error message (not). Not sure why it dumped me out of the phone queue on the first call though.

Yeah! Isn't it weird to see fares and availability change right in front of you?

There I was an hour ago, looking at a half-dozen flight options, and all of a sudden a whole pile of system updates must have posted at all at once, because all those options vanished and a bunch of new ones opened up.
