Not a single meal or snack?

Flying 301 from EWR-FLL in a few weeks.

Departs EWR at 125 and get to FLL at 415 and looks like main cabin can buy stuff but not a single meal or snack for first class. Could this be right?

I'll be doing this route in the fall, but I think it's during meal times for me

First should receive a snack at minimum. The flight is less than three hours so there won't be anything big, although I have been on some shorter flights and received a full meal. You'll get something but who know what it will be.

I've had some flights where it said online that First would receive no meal or snack; however, lunch or dinner was still served. Seemed to be an online error for me.

I flew ORD-EWR a couple of weeks back around 8 pm and only drinks were served in F.

I'm new to the CO side of things, and trying to decipher the meal codes on CO.com in my reservations. Is there a key somewhere I'm not finding?

I did CLE-BOS last week and we had the cold plate offered both ways. That's an under 2 hr. flight. Flight times were 4pm-ish and 6pm-ish.

On most 2-3 hour flights, you will almost always get something. It usually is something such as the indescribable "cold plate" which hasn't changed in at least 3 years and I think is CO's attempt at WeightWatchers . You are missing nothing, trust me.

I fly 301 frequently; while it doesn't reflect this on the PDA site, a cold plate is served.

I dont understand the beef with the snack plate. And it is perfectly "describable."

It is preceeded by nuts and a drink. You then get a pack of crackers, more than enough cheese, a few slices of cold cuts, a small hand full of veggies (sometimes with some dipping sauce) a bowl of fruit and a little dessert. How much do humans expect to eat as a "snack?" Its perfectly adequate for a short, odd timed flight where a snack is all that should be required.

While I agree that the meals served on the shorter routes during CO's listed meal times, have defintely declined over the years, its snack plate offering is fine.

im sure most of us eat far less between meals during our regular work weeks.
