Interesting photo ^ Any idea of where the photo was taken?

Maybe they wanted to recreate the UA emergency landing at EWR?

Greenville, MS. Sinkhole victim after trip 2 paint shop. Find the metaphor for the merger.

Sorry I didn't post where it happened. Looks like someone beat me to it anyways. I wonder how long this plane will be out of service.

Ah, the Mississippi Delta. How I love thee. (Lived in the Delta for several years, and make regular trips. This definitely sounds like a Delta story!)

Bolding mine: Hopefully until it's re-fitted with e+ ;) <ducking>

Here is another view of the plane. Looks like they covered up the name and logo. Guess they do not want new UA paint to get bad press. Lets hope this is not a metaphor for the merger ha ha. Wonder if it the first sink hole to get a large commercial aircraft?

Wow, crazy...and I would think an airport tarmac has to be the last place that a sinkhole would cause problems. Talk about at least 2 feet of concrete and rebar!

Hmm.. That looks a tad unfortunate.

It is $275,000 in damages to repair the aircraft...

this is nothing the proper amount of duct tape can't fix.

I doubt it's the first corporation with incontinence problems.

As is the norm with this type of problem, fiscal health takes a back seat to corporate modesty.
